Having grown by 800 per cent between 2004 and 2014, MSC Cruises is today the market leading cruise company in the Mediterranean, South Africa and Brazil. MSC Cruises sails year-round in the Mediterranean, and offers a wide range of seasonal itineraries in northern Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean the French Antilles, South America, Southern Africa, as well as in Dubai, the Emirates and Oman. By the end of 2014, the 12 ships of its ultra-modern fleet will have carried close to 1.7 million travelers. The fleet comprises 12 ships, four in each of three classes. The four Fantasia class ships – MSC Preziosa, MSC Divina, MSC Splendida and MSC Fantasia – are the largest, accommodating 4,345 to 4,363 travelers. The four vessels of the Musica class including the MSC Magnifica, MSC Poesia, MSC Orchestra and MSC Musica –and carry around 3,000 travelers each. The fleet is completed by the Lirica class – MSC Sinfonia, MSC Armonia, MSC Opera and MSC Lirica – carrying nearly 2,500 travelers.
